Disappointed again.

Hi. My name is carol and my husband and I have been trying to conceive for about 18 months now. We have had nhs support for much of this time as we are having to use artificial insemination as he suffers from delayed ejaculation. During this time it was also discovered that i have pcos, and not ovulating regularly. I worked hard to get my bmi below 30 and was finally given clomid in may. The first cycle didn't work, but the increased dose of the second cycle did. Today is day 28 of my cycle and i have the most horrendous cramps, so i an guessing we are to be disappointed again. Would love to be able to talk to others who understand how i am feeling. People who have not been through this don't seem to understand.

thanks for the thought but unfortunately not. Back on the clomid and trying again.

awww huge hugs we've been given clomid to try while we're on the iui waiting list, how much clomid are you currently taking and how many months you been on it?

I am taking 2 tablets a day, which i think is 100mg (or whatever it is measured in!). This will be my 2nd cycle on this dosage.

awww on our 6 cycles last time we went 50mg 2months 100mg 3months and one month 150mg to max our chances, not sure what i am meant to take this time

Good luck with your 2nd cycle. Clomid works for a lot of women so don't give up hope yet

only got 2 cycles on right round because anything more becomes dangerous
